My government will stop Nigerians from drinking pure water, give access to bottled water - Bola Ahmed Tinubu
"Over the years now, we have witnessed countless of malaria, typhoid fever and all kinds of sicknesses which pure water has played major roles in the distribution of such sicknesses.
"Everywhere in Nigeria today, all you see is malaria and typhoid fever. Hardly any week passes that you won't hear of someone telling you that he or she is suffering from malaria. And this has led many forms of untimely death.
"I assure you, ones elected i will stop Nigerians from drinking pure water but will give access to bottled water because that is the only way to curb malaria from killing our people.
"I have made research on this very issue and it is part of my vision for Nigeria to ensure that Nigeria becomes a malaria free country. No Nation survives with sickness. Most people that produce those pure water are not clean, even the environment too.
"That is why I have strategically made research on this issue and will ensure that an average Nigerian will have access to bottled water. Like they say, water is life. It is when you have life that you can think of bettering the economy and putting on structures."
