Firstly, before I go through what directorial vision/ concept are, I would like us to look at who a director is.
Who is a Film Director?
A film Director is someone who directs the making of a film.
A film Director is also defined as someone who supervises the Actors and direct the Actors in the Production of a show.
Generally, a film Director controls the Artistic and Dramatic work in a film.
Having stated who a film Director is, let's get down to business.
Directorial Vision; Is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
Vision is an Abstract idea.
As a Director, you have to see the movie on your head or mind; Movies that has not been made.
Directorial Concept; is the Directors concept in their Conceptional, vision for a production or project.
Visualizing and creating a picture on your mind.
The Director's concept/ Vision is seeing a movie in your head or mind before filming it.
The reason why some directors don't grow is because they lack Vision/Concept.
They don't think outside the box.
Having a Vision as a film Director is a thing of habit, it's something to develop.
